Puppy Training Basics – Introduction To Puppy Training – Professional Dog Training Tips
There are a few really important puppy training basics skills that you need to work on with your puppy. The first week at home with your new puppy can feel busy and complicated but it doesn't need to be! We will chat about some simple exercises that you can do with your new puppy that will be really beneficial over the years. Making sure that your puppy is comfortable with handling, and taking their collar is one of the things that we will focus on in this stream. Taking your dog's collar is actually something that you can work on with a dog of any age. The benefit of this skill is that you'll be able to easily attach your dog's leash when you take them for a walk. We'll also talk about reward placement and how one simple rule can teach your dog to pay attention to you even in distraction-filled environments! Join professional dog trainers, Ken Steepe and Kayl McCann at 7:30 PM, EST on Thursday, March 21st. Jump in the chat and ask them your puppy training questions.
All aboard the training train, we'll see you at the Train Station!
